The Speyer Legacy School
Now entering its 11th year, Speyer is New York's only independent school for gifted learners, K-8. It began with 26 students in a two-classroom space on West 61st street and has grown to more than 300 students in a breathtaking campus in Midtown Manhattan.
Led by an academically fearless faculty, administration, and staff, students are inspired to be intellectually curious and to pursue their passions. Math, music, languages, arts, sciences, humanities, and technology spill out of the classrooms. Smiles light up the already sun-drenched space. Laughter and discourse bounce off the walls. It's the school you wished you had went to.
